Join the 399 Monument Team at Edison House in downtown Salt Lake City for a special Utah preview of the 399 monument, displayed on an open flatbed trailer fresh from the foundry. From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the public is invited outside to see the monument up close and ask five team members questions about the project. At 5:00 PM, the team heads inside for a private presentation, but the monument will remain on display outside through the early evening.
Join the Grizzly 399 Monument Team at Flying Saddle Resort as they showcase the Grizzly 399 Monument in route to the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Flying Saddle has graciously offered a Reveal and Memorial Dinner to benefit the monument project Located in Alpine, Wyoming, this is a scenic, full-service resort on the Snake River. It features cozy log cabins, and the Grizzly Steakhouse, named after 399!❤️
The benefit dinner features a meet and greet with the 399 Memorial team at 3:30pm, cocktails at 5:00pm, a presentation on the making of the monument at 6:00pm and a beautiful meal at 6:30pm for those who have purchased dinner tickets. For more information call 877-772-4422.

The Grizzly 399 Monument, created under the artistic leadership of Jocelyn Russell with contributions from Kristen Douglas‑Seitz and Colleen Moore, will be unveiled at this free public dedication event. The sculpture will be permanently installed near the museum’s front entrance as a lasting tribute to one of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem’s most iconic bears. The event will feature an artist meet‑and‑greet, a public presentation on the monument’s creation, followed by remarks by Tom Mangelse
