A maquette is a small-scale model of a larger sculpture. In this case, it's a miniature version of the Grizzly 399 monument.
The maquettes are created by scanning the completed full-size clay monument and scaling it down, ensuring incredible detail.
The larger maquette will be approximately 18 inches and available in bronze. The medium maquette will be 14 inches and available in bronze. And the small, 9-inch maquette will be available in both bronze and resin.
Release price on Grizzly 399 bronze maquettes:
$2,950 9" Open Edition ($1,475 deposit to reserve)
$4,800 14" Edition of 99 ($2,400 deposit to reserve)
$6,800 18" Edition of 99 ($3,400 deposit to reserve)
Official Retail price is subject to increase after Release orders are fulfilled and the foundry finalizes their price on casting.
The maquettes will be released around the same time as the monument unveiling. We are aiming for a date in the fall of 2026.
