Grizzly 399 Monument Maquettes

The total cost of the 14-inch bronze maquette is estimated at $4,800. You will write two checks: one to Jocelyn Russell for $3,800 (the cost minus the $1,000 donation) and a second check for $1,000 to Angels Without Wings, Inc., noting specifically on the check that it is for the 399 Monument.

A maquette is a small-scale model of a larger sculpture. In this case, it's a miniature version of the Grizzly 399 monument.

The maquettes are created by scanning the completed full-size clay monument and scaling it down, ensuring incredible detail. 

The smaller maquette will be 14 inches and available in bronze and resin. The larger maquette will be approximately 24 inches and available in bronze.

The  price of the 14-inch bronze maquette is estimated around $4,800. The larger bronze maquette is estimated between $8,000 and $10,000. These are estimates, and final prices will be confirmed with the foundry. 

The maquettes will be released around the same time as the monument unveiling. We are aiming for a date around Mother's Day, 2026.

The maquettes will be a limited edition. The total number of maquettes in the edition for each size is currently under discussion.
